ABOUT
Kona Veterinary Service has been serving the local community since 1995. Originally a mixed animal practice it has evolved to a small animal exclusive hospital. Geographically, we may be in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, but that doesn’t mean the latest technology and specialists are out of reach! We are proud to provide our patients with the latest diagnostics and treatments available. Our in house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, dentistry, orthopedic equipment, and state of the art monitoring equipment as well as an extensive network of specialists available for visiting consultations, procedures, and via telemedicine enable us to provide outstanding veterinary care right here in our own Kona office. We are a small hospital with a staff that takes the time to know the patient and the owner. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes to allow ample time to discuss your pets’ health and needs.
We prefer appointments only as this helps us ensure your pet will get the attention and care they deserve. To set up and appointment, please call us at 325-6637. Urgent care and emergency walk-ins are accepted, though we always appreciate a heads up phone call so we can prepare our office to care for and help your pet.

Kona Veterinary Service is located in Kailua Kona on the ‘Big Island’ of Hawaii. The hospital is near the intersection of Palani Rd/Mamalahoa Hwy and Hina Lani Rd (Costco Road).
